July 25, 2013 – VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Ultra Resources Corp (“Ultra”)(TSX.V-ULT) announces that its application to renew a uranium exploration permit has not been granted in Slovakia. Ultra had substantially complied with its obligations under the previous exploration permit. The reason is believed to be recent legislation enacted in Slovakia at the beginning of this year giving local communities the right to refuse gold and uranium exploration within their cadasters. Ultra is reviewing the decision.

Ultra continues to hold the Horka-Kalnica Uranium exploration permit in Slovakia. This exploration permit is set to expire in June of 2015.
