July 17, 2012 – Ultra Uranium Corp. (“Ultra”)(TSX.V – ULU) announces that at its recent Annual and Special General meeting, Kirk Shaw, Stephen Kenwood, James Boyce, and Irvin Ridd were elected as Directors of the Company. Mr. Shaw is continuing as the Company’s President.

Shareholders approved special resolutions authorizing consolidating the Company’s share capital on the basis of either three (3) or two (2) existing common shares for one (1) new common share. The Directors have been authorized by the shareholders to determine the ratio of any consolidation and whether or not to proceed with the share consolidation. The share consolidation is subject to acceptance for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange.

Ultra’s common shares are listed and called for trading on the TSX Venture Exchange with the trading symbol “ULU”. Information on Ultra can be accessed at www.ultrauranium.com.
